Why would a mother start hurting you and telling you she hopes you die everyday?

Not sure of your circumstances. But, most people lash out from the pain they feel inside and most of the time has absolutely nothing to do with you. You are just the one it is transferred to because you are there.
But if you could share more, I know others will be able to offer some sound advice.
