My mother died a few weeks ago. I have been sole caretaker and POA and signer on bank account. Can I use her money?

My siblings are beneficiaries on the annuity with myself. I still have access to all the accounts and would like to take a couple of thousand to pay myself lost wages when I had to leave work to do things for her. My siblings don’t care and are happy to get any money leftover when we cash out the annuity. Am I allowed to write myself a check?
