Any suggestions for financial assistance for an assisted living facility that Mom is already living in?

The age caring programs that give information never provide information on getting financial aid when your living parent is already in a facility that has a high monthly expense for living there and not wanting to move this parent. I'm sure there is some assistance to help families out that don't have this type of funds to keep going and have the 24/7 care for their parent. Please provide me some assistance in finding financial aid. Your catagories is not financial planning, it is Financial Aid assistance
