My mother has a sleep disorder, she throws herself onto the floor during sleep and ends up with bruising on her face and forehead, she likes to have everyone see the bruising.
I recently was remarried, made sure my mom had a beautiful dress, the makeup, hair etc. Everytime I went for a dress fitting she begged to try on my dress. She purposely was late to the ceremony and ignored me during the reception.
She recently took my son to pick up a car my husband and I told him he was not to get, she lied to me about the whole thing.
My mother does not call me, but complains that I dont talk to her. I call her a few times a month, and when I do she talks about her anorexia non stop and how she was down to 87 lbs and arent I proud she is back up to 93 lbs. I have suggested she get therapy, that has not happened.
I find myself angry with her although I do not show it to her. I limit my time with her as well.
I am sure I am not alone in having a mother like this.
Is there anything I can do to help this situation?

I am not sure what you can do or what it is you want. Unfortunately, your mom is not going to change. I would suggest the you have her health checked out physically and mentally. Than start coming to terms with how your mom is and what you are willing to put up with, and what you can live with.
Hopefully others will time in and help you. Just hang in there.
