I would very much like to find a referral to in-home aides that may help with personal hygiene issues 2 or 3 times a day for just 30 to 45 minutes at a time. Is that possible? I can only find agencies offering help only for large blocks of time which is not needed and becomes very expensive.
Also I need the aide who comes to be fluent in English. So often I get aides with whom I can not communicate. This ends up being far worse than not having anyone there at all.
Suggestions welcome.

1) Hire a caregiver in blocks of time, and understand that you do not have to pay for commute time, car expenses.
2) Hire a caregiver for the whole day, but send them out on errands for the hours you are not using them.
3) Have a caregiver come and stay for only 1/2 hour, but pay them for an entire shift.
4) Hire a caregiver to stay for 1/2 hour, then send the caregiver for english lessons the rest of the shift.
