What to do if she cries constantly?

She did from 18 but hasn't in the past year. Waiting to see what meds work for he early onset dementia. Was put on another med. She goes to a neurologist in August and the psych in July. They also want a MRI brain scan. Thank you. God bless. Still not sure what to do about the constant crying.

I remember we had a discussion about Kelly a few weeks ago, when you said she was constantly pinching and kicking her father. From this post, it seems like things haven’t gotten any better. You responded to my answers by saying that your husband can handle Kelly’s outbursts, but perhaps things are declining for her? I think you mentioned you had a doctor’s appointment? What did they say? Did you discuss Kelly’s nastiness and violent outbursts with them? I remember sharing with you how I was almost very seriously injured by a DD girl in my grandmother’s neighborhood when I was a young child. Since Kelly is already showing nasty and violent tendencies, this still concerns me.

Do you belong to any support groups for parents of children with developmental disabilities? Does Kelly attend any sheltered workshops? Does she attend any sort of day programs for adults with DD? If the answer to any or all of these is no, perhaps her doctor could help you find programs for her.
