trying2undrstnd, your best bet is to contact your County/City council on Aging, or whatever it is called in your area to see if they have a list of support groups.
I live in a large metro area and there weren't any groups in my area. Reason being, it is very difficult for a caregiver to get time off or to find someone to step in to help care for the love one, so that you can attend the group.
I found being on AgingCare was THE best support group that I could find all hours of the day and night :)
