Anyone have experience with a long term care claim against Continental General Insurance Group?

I am retired, 78, veteran.
My wife and I both have long term care insurance from Continental General Insurance Group.
I would like to hear from someone about their success (or failure) in filing claims with this insurance company.
Are they an honorable company or am I throwing money away?
We do not currently need to file a claim.
