Your Mom should have Social Security and Medicare. If she is low income she maybe able to get help from Medicaid. She can apply for health insurance which includes prescriptions, vision, dental and transportation. She may be able to get an aide a few hrs a day.

Call your office of Aging they can help too.
It sounds like mom(Juanita) is 78 and is concerned that her daughter (Theresa) needs help (financial) caring for her.
Theresa, do you work? Juanita, do you collect Social Security, Veterans Benefits and/or a pension?

Does Mum have any income? Is she contributing to the household expenses? Does she pay for caregivers?
