It cannot be surgically repaired or replaced due to her health.I am asking for any information, suggestions or comments on how to change a diaper on a patient when their right hip prosthetic is dislocated and cannot be surgically repaired or replaced. I know she is not the only person this has ever happened to. She is also, very limited on how far she can roll to the opposite side
Please let me know if you have any information.
Thanking everyone in advance,
Kim

When you're ready to place a fresh brief on her have her lay flat on her back, thread her ankles through the leg holes. Your back is to her now. Then pull the brief up. When you get the brief to her thighs inch it up little by little so as not to jostle her hip.
This might not work for all body types.
I don't have those genes,,,, jeans... wish I did.
She tells me, I look older than she is... Well, that does it... I will try to walk faster.
As far as turning. quick and fast to get over the discomfort.
