My mom has been in a nursing home for a few months now. Medicare paid its part and then she qualified for Medicaid to take over. The nursing home wants me to sign over her Social Security and pension checks. What if she has a lot rent on her mobile home among other bills? I’m trying to sell it but it may be awhile. In the meantime they will do an eviction if not paid. She also has credit cards etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have my own rent and bills and cannot take on hers as well. No siblings, it’s just me. I want her to have the best care possible.

Notify CC companies that mom has entered a nursing home and is indigent. Hopefully, you are not also listed on those cards.
As for the mobile home if it is not worth a lot of money, I would stop paying and let them evict her. Sounds like she is on rental property, so to her the land has no value.
Most likely, Medicaid will end up paying a ton more than the mobile home is worth.
You? Do not pay a thing towards her bills. Let the chips fall where they may.
