Brother and sister in law are elderly with possible dementia! Not taking meds and will not let us help! Any advice?

Only had one daughter and she is deceased! They're doc sent nurses over and they would not let them in! We tried to clean up for them and they got upset! Fridge packed with old food that needs to be thrown away. He drives but probably shouldn't so they eat out maybe once a day. Not taking their meds either

If they have children, please try to contact them to see if they are aware of the situation. They are in the best position to help them. If they aren't interested in helping, your only other option is to call Adult Protective Services and report them as vulnerable adults.

Is the age correct? So young but not uncommon.

What do u mean by help? Helping the hire someone? Placing them in an AL ? Are they a danger to themselves? Do they eat?

You could call APS and ask them to evaluate the situation. Does anyone have POA? Do they have children? If so, this really is their responsibility.
