My 92yr old mom w/ dementia lives with us.. I take care of her 24/7.. Can I get pd for being her caregiver/ taker? Sister has guardianship.

She's only had mom 2months since 2016.. I've ALWAYS taken care of her even before she started living here. Sister lives 3hrs away.. Always ended up in hospital when she's had her.. Doesn't care about taking care of my mom only her money(( moms inheritance nearly three hundred eighty thousand$s))

If your sister has guardianship, then she should be responsible for getting her placed in a facility. Since you have no legal way to do anything, then i would tell sister to get her placed elsewhere, and you can begin living your life!!

Your sister would have to get permission from the courts to pay you. Your mom can’t enter into an agreement to pay you because she has a guardian.
