Sudden memory loss?

My husband woke up and did not recognize our bedroom or rember where we live. I gently discussed this with him. I am waiting for him to get up so I can see where he is mentally. Is this common?

Get him to the doctor or ER. There could be several reasons but he needs to be evaluated by a medical staff.

Is ur husband under any pressure? Maybe had a head injury. There is something called a TGA,Trans Global Amnesia. My Mom suffered from it after a head injury. A friend because her only child was fighting a large forest fire. The friend got herself to work and forgot how she got there. These can happen one time and not again. It could be a small stroke. Look at him and see if anything is weird looking on his face. How is his speach, slurred? They say ask them to stick out their tongue, put up their arms over their heads.

My Dad had a clogged artery in his neck. He would be "in a cloud" the first half hour he was up. Maybe its time for DH to have a good physical.

He may have had a slight stroke, this happened to a friend of mine's husband. I would take him to the doctor or ER for evaluation.

Right. I also thought of a UTI?
