I have been looking for a hygiene product to use outside of the shower sold locally. Are there any thoughts?

I have mobility problems and have a hard time getting into the shower. I have seen Tinna body wash for sale online. Walgreens has never heard of the product. Walmart was the same way. Are there any other brands that might be sold in a big box shop or do I need to look at a place specializing in home health products?

There are a lot of no rinse bath and shampoo products. I tend to buy Walgreens house brand because Walgreens is everywhere and it's cheaper. They often have some deal if you buy 2 bottles at a time.

Thank you for this information. Every one here states that you can either find the product in some form online or in any local retail shop. My Mom and brother went into Wallgreens earlier in the week and were told they knew of no product along these lines. We ended up going to a medical supply shop later in the week. Got to like customer service. At least the medical supply shop took the time to help with several different items that have helped out.

I've used two different products for my mom, both available online from Amazon.

The first was Bedside-Care No-rinse cleanser. It comes in both foam and spray bottles. It has a nice scent, and leaves the skin clean and fresh. Comes in 8-oz bottles and is great for low-volume use.

After Mom's needs got more intense, I switched to MedLine "Soothe and Cool Cleanse Total Body Cleanser." It comes in a gallon bottle, which saves a lot of money over the smaller spray or foam bottles. Worked just as well as the Bedside-Care brand, but with little or no scent.

Thank you for the information. The gallon idea is not bad.

Nevada, I have seen multiple no rinse products in Walgreen.  I never looked for one by brand; my focus was more on ones that weren't sprays with multiple ingredient safety warnings.   There are also several brands available at one of the local chain stores.

Search for "no rinse shampoo" and "no rinse soap" or "no rinse body product" and you'll get  a lot of hits.   Walgreen, Walmart and other similar stores carry them.

You could also call a local DME, perhaps one affiliated with or in the same building as a hospital, and ask them.

The brand I've seen used most often is in rehab facilities and hospitals, but I don't remember the name.  It comes in an orange and white bottle/jar/can.

If you do specifically want the Tinna brand, I would try to find the manufacturer, then contact customer support to ask which stores carry it.

Found some for you:

I am not in to name brands. That is just what I came across on a website. Thank you for the information and link.

I would order from Amazon, usually cheaper than a specialty store.

Aloe-vesta is a nice no rinse product.
