And it is the guardians job to protect their charge and ensure that they are receiving the best care possible.

The guardian is responsible for your mom only so it makes sense they aren’t looking out for anyone but her. How do you know the new account doesn’t list beneficiaries?

I read your previous posts. Is your mother going to qualify for Medicaid? If that's the case, it doesn't really matter who the beneficiaries are, if the accounts will be spent down for her care. And is the house also going to be sold to be spent down for her care?

I am sorry that you and your wife (especially your wife...you wrote that she spent 15 hours/day, not including staying overnight (!))) took care of your mother apparently without any compensation. How long did this go on before she was moved to a facility?

Me too. I think u need a lawyer to help you. Why was Mom appointed a guardian. One of her children could have become one using her money?
