If he sees a neurologist then he can diagnose him. If not, then I would make an appt with one.

Do you live near a major university? Ours had a brain and memory wellness center and that is where we went. They were great.

Other than that, probably talking with your primary care physician is a good place to start. He can refer you to a neurologist.
