I know this has come up on the forum before, try a site search. Have you asked her audiologist for suggestions? Do you think that white noise may help?
I don’t know the answer to your question but want to say I can truly empathize with her. I have had tinnitus since my twenties. The tone or frequency will change at times and it can be very annoying.
Medications can cause this? Interesting.
I have some hearing loss which happened young too. My audiologists told me that I abused my ears with loud rock concerts. I love music and went to tons of concerts, plus I was the kid who blasted their stereo.
