I want to be an administrator of my husband's estate & I need help in completing the paperwork. Any suggestions?

TNTechie raises an issue not previously addressed:

Angela, is your husband still alive, or has he passed?

In most states if your husband has died without a will, you can petition the probate court to be named personal representative for his estate. The court clerk often has a basic form you can complete for the petition and you may be required to obtain a bond; the court clerk can usually help you find a reputable bonding company too.

Angela, this is your husband's choice, not yours.   If he wants you to be his Personal Rep, f/k/a Executrix or Executor, he has to execute a Will so specifying.

I'm confused though as to what paperwork you're completing?    Could you elaborate?

You should see an attorney. An hour of time bought is cheap indeed to be certain everything is as it should be. Good luck.

A bit more info would be helpful.
Have you consulted an attorney (and might be best if it were one that understands Elder Law)
But what type of help or information were/are you looking for.
