What does it mean if my mum has started to make sounds in her sleep?

I'm a little concerned about my mum and whether or not she has any medical issues due to the fact she won't get tested. She has been forgetting a lot of things lately and has been a bit on edge.

My uncle died Parkinson's disease and my nana died of cancer, so I am really worried about her.

If she has a personal physician, ask him if she might have sleep apnea, which causes stoppage in breathing during sleep.

Although snoring is typical with sleep apnea, other sounds can be made during sleep as well if this condition is present.

Parkinson's is hereditary. Dementia goes hand and hand with it. Mom needs a good physical so she get meds to help with the symptoms.

Chelsea I don't know anybody who isn't a bit on edge at the moment. We live in strange and disturbing times!

What sounds is your mother making in her sleep? And how old is she? - is says on your profile "17" but I'm guessing that that's you, not her.
