How do I eliminate specific TV news stations? Older folks are getting scared who constantly watch them. Is it even possible?

Use the parental controls feature. It’s how my children grew up for a long time without knowing there was such a thing as MTV 😜

See if there's a selection of Parental Controls under Menu (check remote). If there is, select , then follow instructions.

I don't know but I have to say if someone invented a way to block certain stations, I'd buy it in a hot minute. Some news sources should have a plane going down in flames as their logo.

I've asked my mom to turn it on in the morning and then don't look at it again until the next day.
