I am wondering why the corona virus stimulus check I received was only $750, not the $1200 stated in all of the news articles I have seen?

What was your filing status and AGI for your most recent filing?
Also, make sure this was not your irs refund. They are coded the same way.

Apparently you (happily) make too much to get the full amount. Look up the stimulus program and you will see the rules. Celebrate your good luck.

It’s because your adjusted gross income was over $75,000.
