What shaving products do you use for an elderly disabled man?
His whole right side can't work very well and his electric razor is nowhere to be found. I want to be able to help shave without nicking his face. Any brands I should look into?
A Norelco Phillips electric razer is the only brand I recommend. I've been using that brand for as long as I can recall. I bought my last one about 2 years ago for $40. You don't need the $80 one. Also you want to apply Lectric Shave before shaving. It'll prevent skin irritation and razor burn.
This is a job I absolutely hate - my more experienced co-workers have become expert barbers, but it still brings me out in a cold sweat - too many memories of running a razor up my shin as a teenager in a hurry and how painful that was!
But what I wouldn't do is switch to wet shaving if the gentleman is only used to an electric razor. I know they're not cheap but they're not that expensive: would he consider buying another?
