Is there any assistance/government stimulus $ to help me with the aid of my parents?
I'm not comfortable having someone coming to their house or placing them in a home because of Covid-19. I have taken on the challenge to care for them myself along with my Sister's help. FYI they live 80 miles away.
Theres no stimulus money for this. Your parents should be compensating you and reimbursing your out of pocket expenses. If they are unable to afford that & are low income and medical-eligible then there is at least one state program they may qualify for & you may be eligible to be hired as their caregiver through the program just keep in mind pay is minimal, you’ll be paid to work a few hours a week and your expenses won’t be reimbursed.
