Shower if at all possible. We have a shower chair and shower rails installed as well for safety. She doesn’t love the process but it’s necessary and she always feels better after. The whole using wipes just doesn’t cut it anymore for her. Ends up being embarrassing and not cleaning well enough.
Time for someone to help. Clean up as much as possible with toilet paper and then use wipes. I used Huggies. They are big and thick. Just don't flush them.
My Mom used a shower chair but she could stand. She had a bar in her shower, that she stood up at and held on. I would then clean her real good using a handheld shower head to rinse and spray between her legs.
Go to YouTube and search for videos that are used by student nurses to learn skincare/hygiene and how to change linen after someone had a BM in bed. You will get many resources there until someone chimes in here.
