Recently mom has been having the delusion that the manager of the Apartment complex has been sneeking into my apartment and stealing her clothes, purse, ear rings, etc. I've managed to handle these delusions until today. She went to the office and tried to file a complaint against the women who runs the facilities. Thank God it's Sunday and they are closed. I fear she will confront the manager in the morning. My goal is to try to get to the manager first.
I don't really know what to tell this manager about how to respond to alleviate my moms mistaken perceptions. I know she needs to empathize with mom but not to admit to something untrue.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm scheduling an appointment for a consultation with her physician. But it might need to be by telephone due to COVID-19.

yes follow up with a phone call in the morning to make sure they have the information.
I worry that Mum is left unattended. I know you have things you need to do, perhaps you can get a sitter when you have to leave.
Recently 2 seniors with dementia have gone missing and not been found until too late in my community.
