Lewy Body Dementia, is this normal?

My mom as Lewy Body Dementia and is in a Care Home. when I went to see her on a social distance visit she was non responsive in a very deep sleep and couldn’t be woken. The home said she had been like that a few days. Is this normal with the type of dementia she has as it worries me she is now responding again.

Do you have POA for health care? It is time to review her medications with her doctor if so. Mentation in ANY dementia, and the "sleepy thing" can and does happen. But if she is non arousable there is a concern here. The POA should review her meds with her prescribing doctor.

No we don’t have POA but as far as I’m aware Mom is on no meds just asthma preventers it’s so difficult at the moment I had to really fight with the Care Home to get mom checked by a doctor but by that time she had awoken from whatever was happening to her
