Reader’s Digest used to publish a large print version. Many books also come in large print. At her age, your mom should have a wealth of stories and experiences to share with her family. Perhaps if you just sat and listened to her share her experiences for a while might be something she’d enjoy. Make sure you write down her stories. She might also enjoy just sitting outside for a while.
