Gramma stubbornly is still independent. My Aunt who watches her returned home for a week so I got volunteered. I go to take a shower, or anything, she comes in somehow without me hearing her and does random things. (Steals my towels to wash that are clean, let's dogs out without watching to make sure they don't escape the old fence, locks up her house like Fort Knox because you stepped outside, can't hear but seems to somehow eavesdrop when on the phone around corners)...

Instead of bells, there are sensors that chime and you put them up high so she can't reach.

I would also put bells on all the doors so that if any are opened you will be aware of it. (this is outside doors) You could also put your keys or a bell on the bathroom door when you are in the bathroom, your bedroom door so that is she opens the door you would be aware of it.
Keep a copy of the house key on a chain or shoelace that you wear on your neck. Or get one of the bracelet elastic coil things that you can wear on your wrist. Put a key to the house on it so if you are locked out you can get back in easily.
