Any recommendations for an online book club/social activity club? I'm cooped up at home with mom.
I'm losing my mind some days. I had enough of Netflix etc etc and would love to have fun with an online group playing Scrabble or any other games/ learn quilting/crafting ...anything at all.
PS. There are also several book clubs on Facebook which are sometimes quite interesting, especially if you're an avid reader, which I've been my whole life.
Both Scrabble and Words with Friends are offered online. I've been playing Words with Friends for years and love it. It's a distraction and keeps your mind Sharp and functioning better, which I think is especially good for seniors. It really helps boredom too. I wish you good luck if you get started with these games, and hope they relieve the boredom you've been experiencing.
Maybe you can do a few searches on YouTube. My daughter was saying how she missed going to the gym and started doing yoga with a person that gives yoga classes online, via YouTube.
I get tired of television and I listen to books read online at a local radio station for the blind. They read best sellers, fiction and non fiction, newspapers, medical journals, magazines, etc.
