Who is the Maryland Authority having jurisdiction over skilled nursing facilities?

Look in the Admissions office or near there as the procedure for filing a Patient complaint is required to be posted in plain view for everyone to see in every facility that receives reimbursement from Medicare/Medicaid.

Also, Google Maryland.gov “who licenses nursing homes”.

Call your State Ombudsman. They should be able to help. Number should be in your packet given when person was admitted. The facility has to include the number. Probably under residents rights. If not would be listed under State agencies in your phone book.
