Online support virtually?

I live on the opposite side of the country from you,(NC) but I attend(now on Zoom), a local caregiver support group, that meets every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. EST, and again on Friday's at 1:00 p.m. EST. Anyone is welcome to join us. Let me know if you need the facilitator's email address and I will give it to you.
The nice thing about this group meeting weekly is that we all get a turn to share what are concerns/ troubles are for that week. And even though my husband died a few months ago, I can (along with others who have been there done that)share with the others any wisdom or suggestions I may have to make their life a little easier. This group saved my life,(I've been attending for over 2 years) when I was at my wits end in my caregiving journey with my husband. Caregivers need as much support as possible.

Check your local assisted living facilities. I attended an in person support group held by a social worker once a month.

Some people have moved in person meetings to online meetings.

I attended an Alzheimer/Dementia Caregiver's group before COVID and they started having Zoom meetings. The facilitator's email address is Roberta.Kirby@mercy.net . It's one, I think maybe the third, Wednesday a month at 2 p.m. Central time. Good luck!
