I am full POA for my father, who designated me while of sound mind. He's now suffering from advanced dementia and I need to add my brother as a POA, mostly for making medical decisions/answering questions. My brother was military and away more than home, but now he is able to share in the hospital and doctor visits for both parents.
How can I add my brother without my father's signature? My father is no longer of sound mind and it would only agitate and confuse him more.

Might even want to find out if there are any other documents that he should be added to
I think you can add him yourself as a secondary.
So it could be a joint POA or one that he can take over if something happens to you.
