96 year old mom in assisted living, how long until she adjusts?

It might well be a few weeks. it could be longer. I think it depends on how much and how well they engage with the rest of the residents. And how often you visit and if you make a big deal of how she is doing. A constant.....how are you getting used to it here?....I wish you could come home but ....
