Memory Care is not usually covered by Medicaid. Like an Assisted Living its private pay and more expensive because more care is needed. You need to check with Medicaid to find out if your State covers MC. If not, then ur going to choose another option which would be a Nursing Home, Skilled Nursing or Longterm care. Whatever your area calls it. Medicaid usually pays for this but some facilities limit their Medicaid Residents.
As suggested, you are just going to need to call around.
As you research places that look appealing to you and meet your needs, call to schedule a tour but then ask the if they have Medicaid beds, how many, and if there is currently a waiting list. They are quite used to getting these questions.
