We use an overnight depends and add an additional pad inside for mom. I’m not sure who your caring for but there is also an exterior female catheter - it’s called a purewick by Liberator Medical. It lays on the outside and uses a small vacuum. Mom has used it for over 2 years at night and most days it does catch 90-95% of the urine - keep mom dry. best of luck
On top of what cwillie has suggested, you can use a plastic urinal for overnight, or put a bedside commode next to the bed. You can also put a booster pad in his diaper as well, to try and absorb more of the pee, or use a condom catheter or some other type of catheter. A urologist can also prescribe medications for over active bladder, along with putting Botox in the bladder as well, as that's supposed to help with an overactive bladder. It's tough I know. We tried everything for my husband, and eventually upon the recommendation of his urologist had a supra pubic(permanent)catheter put in. That was beyond a Godsend, as we were both finally able to sleep through the night without having to get up every hour for my husband to pee. I wish you the very best.

It's tough I know. We tried everything for my husband, and eventually upon the recommendation of his urologist had a supra pubic(permanent)catheter put in.
