*Hospice is not only non-profit, too. I found an excellent company on Yelp for my dad after having to fire Vitas, another nationwide company. Check reviews when choosing a company.
I'm not sure what you are asking? Most hospice care is provided in the home so if it is a question of your feeling unable/unwilling to provide that level of care that is different, although there are hospice facilities they generally only accept people who only have days or weeks left.
You will not make the hospice decision. That decision is made by hospice when an evaluation is completed. Call and request an evaluation by a non-profit provider.
