Many Medicare Advantage plans include free membership in the Silver Sneakers program. Not only does that give seniors free access to local gyms and YMCAs, but they also have a whole bunch of exercise and related videos on youtube.com Several of their videos are accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you are a member of Silver Sneakers.
Although not strictly exercise videos, Bob and Brad, two kind of goofy physical therapists, also have a youtube channel and a website. They also have weekly giveaways.
There are many others, I'm sure. Youtube is a great source of all kinds of exercise videos.
Here is a simple exercise that my primary doctor suggested since I have trouble trying to stand up after squatting down to pick something up on the floor or to clean ... seems to be a main problem for a lot of us seniors :P
Stand in front of the kitchen sink. Put your hands on the edge of the sink, now squat down a tiny bit, now stand up. Do that a few times. If it is comfortable, next time try squatting down a bit further. The edge of the sink helps you stand back up. Check with your doctor first before doing this.
The only problem is remembering to do those exercises. My excuse is "I'll do it later".
Dance for PD (Parkinson's Disease) has an excellent program, with videos available online. It was developed by ballet dancers and modified for seniors, those with PD, or with other movement limitations. Exercises can be done standing or sitting.
