Can I go on vacation if I am a joint durable poa?

How is the "joint" section worded?   Do you have to make decisions with someone else, or is worded in such a way that either of you can act.

Notwithstanding, you can go on vacation, but let the other joint proxy know how you can be reached, how long you'll be away, etc.

So why aren't you dealing with the problem instead of going away?
