Moms Adult care was similar to Grandmas. The one benefit I had was they bathed Mom for me. One thing I did not have to do. Medicaid may pay partial or all of the cost if the person falls in the criteria.
The one that my Husband went to the Van would pick up clients between 8 and 9 and they would take them to the Day Care. The client would get a breakfast, a snack , lunch and activites they could get involved in if they wished. the Van would return him home around 4 PM. Ask what the particular one has as a policy for changing incontinence underwear. (tab or pull up) and ask what the policy is for changing soiled clothing. In general clients will get a light breakfast or morning snack, a lunch and an afternoon snack. Clients are not "required" to participate in activites but they will encourage it. There may be outings but that might be curtailed due to COVID ask the Day Care what there program consists of. Ask if they require vaccinations, masks. Ask what their policy is on sick days. Each facility will have their own guidelines so it is a matter of gathering as much information as you can.
