If I were in your shoes there’s a 100% chance I’d leave each and every time abuse happened. There’s no reason, including another person’s physical frailties, to stick around for abuse. Guard your physical and emotional health, once gone it doesn’t come back

Tomago, to my horror I see that this is your fourth year on the forum. What's the situation now and what (if anything) has changed or become firmly established in that time?
