Can you get paid for taking care of a family member by the state?

My father needs around the clock care is there any way you can get paid by the state for care taking your family

No, not by all. You probably will not be paid 24/7. Mom applies, not you. Getting Medicaid will depend on Moms income and assets. My Aunt had 30k in assets and she had to spend it down to receive any help from Medicaid.
