My dad is on hospice and his wife will not allow his children to visit him although he wants to see them. She thinks everyone is coming by to spy on them. He is not allowed to watch TV or to have a private conversation on the phone or in person. We are concerned for his physical and emotional well-being. He is typically alert and oriented. My sister hasn’t been able to contact him since November and now I have been restricted. We have contacted authorities, DCF and police. We really need help quickly.

How do you know he's on hospice? Why is he on hospice? Are you going by what she's told you or have you seen it yourself before she started blocking everyone?Wouldn't there be hospice nurses coming and going? Wouldn't they be reporting whether she has become incapable of care? I think the most you can do is contact APS. To pursue guardianship you have to have proof that there is something illegal or abusive *to him* going on. If you are willing to give an update, that would be very helpful.
Show up with transportation and pick dad up.
If dad wants to stay with her, there isn't a lot you can do besides monitor and ask APS to do the same.
Have you considered suing for guardianship?
