I have two hospital-type electric beds that I would like to donate. Anyone know where I can try?
These were very expensive beds with remote controls and memory foam mattresses with covers. They would need to be picked up in Gold Canyon, Az., as they are heavy.
Check your local Senior Center, or if you have a Nurses Lending Closet they may take them. You can check with Salvation Army or other resale shop they may pick it up, otherwise you would have to bring it if they agree to take it. Usually NO ONE will take a used mattress so that can probably be tossed with the garbage on pick up day. If you place an ad with Marketplace or Craigs list that might get some takers. Other than that placing the frame with the garbage at the curb a metal scrapper will take it and it will get recycled.
