My mom was diagnosed with dementia. It seems like her memory is good, but she just has a hard time talking. Any advice?

Different parts of the brain can be effected by dementia.
My Husband was pretty much non-verbal the last 6 years of his life. there were things that he could do that if you looked at the "lists" of what people can and can not do at various stages he was able to do.
Some of it might be the type of dementia your mom has been diagnosed with.
A little more info would help

I hope you will come back and finish your question here.
Would be interested to know what is going on, who diagnosed, how they diagnosed it, and what symptoms of dementia you are seeing other than the speech affect.
