Your local County Social Service office should be able to help you. Even with SS.
I need to say though, as a young person you should not have given up a job to care for Mom. Your SS is going to be effected. They only go back 35 years from time u apply. If in that 35 years you did not work 10, the amt of SS u get will only be based on 25 yrs of income.
If Mom needs 24/7 care, you may need to place her in LTC with Medicaid paying their share. Social Services can help u find temporary housing and you can find a job. You may not want this for Mom but it may be your only solution.
Contact your Area Agency on Aging and county social services. They can help you navigating what aid you may be eligible to obtain. If you are disabled, contact Social Security to see if you qualify for Social Security Disability or Supplemental Security Income.
