If a senior has no family member able to provide care, what can they do?

casemiroo, a lot depends if a senior has saved for those "rainy days". If yes, then they can budget to move into a senior facility where they will get their care.

Since I have no children, and even if I did, I wouldn't have them uproot their lives to care for me. I saw what it did to me helping my parents with logistical items, no way could I have been hands-on since I was a senior myself.

If budgeting for a senior facility is out of the question, then thankfully there is Medicaid [which is different from Medicare] to help one get the care they need.
