Seek medical advice first. See where that leads. Physical issues eg pelvic floor muscles, bladder issues, neurological, 'water' pills - so many others.
See if a cure is possible. If not, aim to contain. There are many great products that can really help.
There may be a specialised helpline or clinic for specialised help too.
Talk to your urologist as there are many bladder control medications out there. And if one doesn't help, try another. Your urologist can also put Botox in your bladder to see if that might help. And then of course there's always catheters, permanent and otherwise, so really you need to be talking to your urologist to see what they might recommend. Until then you wear your Depends 24/7 and if needed put an extra pad in for extra absorption. My husband who had vascular dementia suffered greatly with excessive incontinence, and he tried all of the above. He ended up having to get a supra pubic catheter put in. I wish you the best in getting this figured out.
What do u mean by excessive? Are you on a water pill? We need a certain amt of water a day to keep us hydrated and what goes in comes out.
Do you drink coffee, if so you may want to stop Drink beer, may want to stop. Drink sodas or tea, both of these aggrevate the bladder and make you go more.
