I'm 53 yrs old disabled and has Medicare and Medicaid. I am needing home health care services for Nursing and Aides Services. I have 17 verebras that are messed up as well as permanent nerve damage in legs and arms. Because of these issues im unable to fix food, wash dishes, bath, wash hair, dress and light duty work . Nursing care for med setup and apply medication to areas that can't be reached (upper back) up to four times daily.

Have you looked at Social Security Disability?

You can start the ball by contacting Office of Aging. Are your doctor's aware of your situation? Were you released from a Rehab when it sounds like you are an "unsafe" discharge?

If you get Medicare disability, why have you not gotten help before now? Actually, the Dept of Disabilities could help. Medicaid has in home services. Office of Aging should be able to find you the help you need but seems to me, you need 24/7 care.

Contact the Dept of Health and Human Services for your county and discuss your needs with a social worker since you're already on Medicaid.

Have you talked to a social worker? You need to talk to social services or you could also contact your state's elder protection services and see what kind of help they can offer.
