This is a for-profit franchise business that is about to open a facility in Austin TX. My husband, who has dementia and mobility issues, and I have visited. We think it could be a good alternative for him a couple of days a week when I am working outside the home. We have caregivers who are lovely, but don't provide much in the way of socialization or activities.
I liked the owner/manager, and on paper the program looks good. They have locations in Maryland a few other states and I am wondering if any forum readers have used Town Square.
Thanks!
Ann

The Adult Day care that I used for my Husband was not a For Profit organization.
I am sure there are quite a few Adult Day Care programs near where you live. I would also check them out. Granted they might not be as new or fancy. Check your local Senior Center and ask if there are Adult Day programs in the area.
Cost is always a big factor.
I suppose the best thing to do would be to get him started and if you find that it is not the right fit you look for another.
